A world glass act

It has been widely spread in the news that some people have found small pieces of glass in their food in Sweden. Especially in chicken, but in other products as well. Now they have found glass in Finland as well, for example amongst frozen vegetables by Findus. Despite the seriousness of the situation, it's kind of 'funny' to find glass in a product by 'find us'.

Glass is now everywhere and no-one knows where it has come from. Try sabotage. Humans are clever enough to launch satellites that almost orbit the globe, LOL, so why not 'spice' food with glass somehow? Glassy food might become an extra specialty in our imaginative Amigo restaurant too.

This whole thing started, silly but it's true, in Sweden. Now it seems to have a copy-cat version in Finland as well. Next they take Manhattan? Oh, yes, they did that already. How did Leonard know? Sorry, bad joke.

Eating glass is dangerous. My wife had her tooth split in half when she ate a piece of chicken in Stockholm last year. I blogged about it even. Now we were wondering if it were a piece of glass that caused it. Then again, it was lucky that she didn't accidently swallow it. I hope she didn't.

This all is pretty worrying. Old way of torturing prisonaires has come back. The Swedes dunnit again, "världsklass", as usual. They say in Finland that "sirpaleet tuovat onnea" (slivers bring happiness). I hope we won't get too much of happiness in the future still.
